Priority Validation ensures critical tasks are prioritized in Agile projects by aligning efforts with strategic goals and stakeholder needs.

Priority Validation is the practice of checking, after an item has been delivered, whether the value or urgency assumed when it was prioritized actually materialized in practice, closing the loop between a prioritization decision and its real-world outcome rather than treating the original estimate as permanently unquestioned once the item leaves the backlog. Because prioritization decisions are made in advance, based on projections and assumptions about value, urgency, or risk, validating those assumptions against what actually happened provides essential feedback for improving the accuracy of future prioritization decisions.
