Delivery Progress Metrics are indicators that track how much of a defined scope of work has been completed relative to how much remains, at either the level of a single iteration or a longer-term release or project horizon, giving the team and its stakeholders visibility into whether work is proceeding as expected against a plan. Unlike the flow-oriented indicators discussed elsewhere, which examine how work moves through the process in general, delivery progress metrics are specifically anchored to a defined body of scope and measure the team's advancement through that particular scope over time.
